Our world may look much the same as it did 30 years ago but behind the scenes there have been some incredible invisible revolutions. The internet revolution carries on in hidden server rooms around the world while wireless technology helps the internet weave an invisible web.
Presented for your viewing pleasure are three of the most visually stunning tech videos seen in quite a while. Join Timo Arnmall and the gang as they make the invisible incredible. Sit back, relax and prepare to be stunned by the invisible world.

Director, designer and researcher Timo Arnall has been capturing these invisible revolutions for nearly a decade, producing stunning high tech videos. Executing his obsession Timo has produced some incredible examples of the invisible visualized, to dramatic effect.
His latest film the Internet Machine attempts to give the internet a tangible quality by exploring the technology keeping the clouds afloat, giving the internet a face. More than a collection of machines this is the heartbeat of our modern world
The Immaterials: the ghost in the field is a dazzling clip that explores the 3D volumes of RFID chips using LED lights and stop frame animation. The film visualizes the field of interaction between an RFID sender and receiver for the first time. By probing the field with a receiver attached to an LED Timo builds up a picture of the active area between the chips.
Timo has also been weaving his visualization magic with WiFi networks in ‘The Immaterials: Light Painting WiFi’. Working in much the same way as the first Immaterials video Timo switches the small LED tester with a 4 meter long pole to measure WiFi strength.
