Arnold Works at Gold’s
Arnold Zipper
At the age of 66 Arnold has been in the limelight for 43 years, winning his first Mr Olympia at the age of 23. Now Arnie is back, returning to screens everywhere with a couple of hilarious videos. Is Arnold just a bit bored in semi-retirement (the one were you’re retired but don’t realise) or has he finally realised his comic potential.
Arnold ventures back into the gym for charity in the first video ‘Arnold Works at Gold’s‘. Going undercover at Gold’s gym Arnold dons a fake moustache and wig to surprise gym junkies in Venice, California. As Howard Kleiner the over enthusiastic regional manager, Arnold is in his element and having fun with it.
The video was put together to raise money for the After-School All-Stars charity, a charity helping to promote youth fitness.
Arnold Warmup
In the build up to Superbowl 2014 Anheuser-Busch, the makers of many of America’s favourite amber ales have started the build-up to the busiest time of year for advertisers in America, Superbowl. This year’s Superbowl campaign for Bud and his fellow beers revolves around a party, a monster party for one lucky man.
The big event organised by BBDO advertising agency y involves 412 actors, 58 hidden cameras, 5 rock stars and 4 celebrities, one of which is Arnold.
By far the funniest aspect of the Bud build-up to Superbowl has been Arnold putting his comic talents to the test, playing an Austrian Bjorn Borg at the table tennis table. Where Anheuser will take this is still a mystery.
Arnold’s underutilized talent for comedy has to be the secret to his new career; retirement is obviously not an option.
