While many may make light of this most unusual phenomenon, alien abduction, there is actually enough anecdotal evidence to suggest this is a real phenomenon and not just mass hysteria as the mainstream sciences would have us all believe. The latest celebrities to publicly discuss their own personal alien encounters have gone on the record with their stories. The Nanny’s Fran Drescher and rocker Sammy Hagar have both publicly discussed the subject during recent interviews.

While Fran has made no secret of her beliefs Sammy Hagar has kept his secret close to his chest not wanting to endanger his career, and rock and roll lifestyle. This is a common story that reflects more upon societies unwillingness to study this phenomenon.

Fran’s tale of abduction begins with a very common tale, driving with her father when they both noticed strange lights in the sky. A large proportion of alien abductions seem to have a a family history to them. With children of abductees often experiencing the same phenomenon, often without family members being aware of this most unusual family heritage.

Fran has been doing the publicity rounds promoting her show “Happily Divorced”, displaying an unusually relaxed attitude to question regarding her belief that she has been abducted.

During an interview with The Huffington Post last month Fran is quoted as saying “You know, it’s funny because Peter – Fran’s ex – and I both saw them before we knew each other, doing the same thing, driving on the road with our dads, We were both in junior high. A few years later, we met, and we realized that we had the same experience. I think that somehow we were programmed to meet. We both have this scar. It’s the exact same scar on the exact same spot.”

Peter, Frans ex-husband doesn’t share her beliefs though, he has rationalised his experiences and completely dispels any possibility of alien abduction. Fran stands by her beliefs though, convinced that the scar on her hand was created when an implant was inserted under her skin. The implant she believes is a source of mind control, able to influence the way people think.

Recently Sammy Hagar also threw his hat into the alien abduction ring with the release of his personal memoirs Red: My Uncensored Life in Rock. In the book he discusses his memories of alien abduction, along with his Tequilas fascination and other aspects of his rock ‘n roll lifestyle, he is a rock star after all.

The earliest memory that Sammy discusses occurred when he was just four years old. While outside walking he recalls seeing a car with no wheels, scooting across an empty paddock, kicking up dust trails as it went by. His abduction tale occurred a few decades ago, he goes on to describe seeing two strange creatures in a UFO. Going on to describe being connected to the UFO, feeling like something has been downloaded from his brain and potentially an upload occurring as well.

During and interview with MTV Hive Sammy opened up about his belief in UFO’s and memories of encounter. Sammy doesn’t take himself too seriously it seems, during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel on his late night show they performed a live parody of the story, little green men included.

The separation between what is considered normal and the super natural are beginning to crumble, from quantum physics to the discoveries being made in study of the nano world we are beginning to encounter highly strange phenomenon, phenomenon that were once considered illusions by science, the supernatural. The truth has an unusual way of bubbling to the surface.
