Driving at that very limit is an everyday experience for Ken Block. The manic mind behind DC shoes made the transition to crazy rally driver many years ago, perfecting his tyre smoking techniques.
It all came down to the last race, with a disaster filled start to the Rally America championship (2013) Block had driven the wheels off his Focus to be in with a chance to win. Right up until he rolled his car multiple times while doing 150kph / 90mph in the last race, walking away from what was possibly one of the most incredible crashes of 2013.
Presented for your viewing pleasure is the evidence that practice really does make perfect and even practice won’t save you from mistakes. Join Block and navigator as they discuss that accident, complete with POV footage. Also included to remind us that accidents are rare and success is spectacular is the practice video for the original Gymkhana video. Sit back, relax and be sure to buckle up in the back, even the most stable chair isn’t safe from the Block effect.
