Modern jet airliners have made travel around the world fast and affordable, and at the same time made the world a much smaller place. Seated at the very front of these aircraft the pilots do their jobs without the passengers ever seeing what it takes to safely land one of these carbon fibre and aluminium birds.
Presented for your viewing pleasure is the view from the cockpit as a Boeing 777 is brought in to land at New York’s JFK airport. If you have ever wondered what is happening up front while you are coming in to land this video should be of interest. Sit back, relax and remember to fasten your seat belt and put your seat in the upright position.
