Gadget loving website VAT19 has this week released the promo for their latest cool toy, shiny steel Star Wars models. Produced by InnovaToys the new models are part of the Metal Earth series of laser cut steel models.

Four officially licensed models are available in the Metal Earth Star Wars series; build yourself a Tie Fighter, R2-D2, Millennium Falcon or AT-AT. All of the models are delivered on a pair of laser cut steel sheets that the parts are popped out of. The parts are then shaped and bendy tabs are used to lock the model together. No glue or soldering is involved in the assembly and the only tool required is (no jokes please) a pair of needle nose pliers. Follow the instructions and the models snap together with just the aforementioned pair of pliers in under an hour.
