MMA cage fighting for women might still be finding its place in the world of sports and entertainment but it has already produced a legend, a badass named ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey. A fighter of such legendary proportions that Rowdy Roddy Piper personally gave her permission to use his nickname. A legendary reputation built by climbing over the bodies of her opponents after attempting to tare arms from shoulders.

Ronda is the number one female MMA fighter in the world and pound for pound she is one of the best fighters to enter the octagon ring, male or female. Officially she is ranked number one female MMA bantamweight fighter in the world according to the Unified Women’s MMA rankings, she even makes 7^th position on the combined men’s and women’s rankings.

As the current MMA Women’s Bantamweight Champion and Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda has maintained her perfect record of 11 wins from 11 fights, 9 of them by armbar, a submission move that has become her signature winning move.

As a professional fighter Rowdy Ronda has already achieved much but as an actress her career is only just beginning. Taking advantage of her popularity Rowdy has already ventured to Hollywood to make three movies Expendables 3, Furious 7 and the soon to be released Entourage film.

She’s even a people person, always keen to get out mix it with fans and reporters, break a rib of two. On a recent visit to reporter Aaron Tru’s home dojo Ronda was invited to mix it up with Tru, a reporter with a gift for saying exactly the wrong thing at the right time. Suffice as to say the encounter ended with smashed balls and 4 broken ribs.

With an already impressive record and with the popularity of MMA cage fighting going through the roof Rowdy is going to be a champion to watch. Not a difficult thing as she is as beautiful as she is dangerous. Can badass get any hotter than this? Will she retire undefeated to spend her time playing Pokémon and eating buffalo wings while surfing? Will anyone work out a defence against her armbar move?
