Gaming headlines are flowing thick and fast from Sony’s publicity machine this week. The news that every PlayStation fan has been waiting for is now sending waves of excited chatter around the web.
The PS4 (CUH-1000A series) will be released in the US and Canada first on November 15th, Europe and Latin America will have to wait two weeks till November 29 before they can get their hands on the Sony’s new dream machine.

The complete list of the November 29 release countries includes for the European market: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. While the Latin America launch countries include Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama and Peru.
While the PS4 may be stealing headlines the rest of the Sony gaming family also have news to share. The PS3 is destined to continue life as Sony’s cheaper entry level console with the release of a 12GB Flash PS3, on sale now for the rock bottom price of $199 USD. Sony’s portable gaming console the PS Vita, a fistful of gaming, has had its price slashed to $199 USD for the Wi-Fi only model. All designed to tempt us with their gaming goodness.
Sony is aiming for the gamers this time around, the PS4 hasn’t abandoned the living room completely but Sony has returned to the PlayStation’s core business, hours and hours of gaming fun. It’s all about the games people.
