With the latest models of the greatest examples of supercar design from Europe and the USA ready to do straight line battle the race is on. Motor Trend had assembled the fastest of the fast. Names we can only dream of are present; Lamborghini Aventador, Nissan GT-R Black Edition, Ford Shelby GT500, McLaren MP4-12C, Jaguar XKR-S, Porsche 911 Carrera S, Subaru BRZ, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series and Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
Gathered at the abandoned runway of the El Toro Marine Base the scene was set, with 9 of the World’s fastest Supercars lined up in a row, as the revs build in anticipation the combined exhaust note shakes the ground beneath their rubber feet, the answer would soon be clear.
