While there are a multitude of videos capturing UFO’s in flight it is a different story for UFO’s landing. This week a single frame of security video capturing this rare event was released to a hungry world. A video containing one of the most convincing images to date, an image of a UFO at rest.

Of the landing videos released recently few have caused as much controversy as the UFO landing shot from a highway in New Mexico. While it is believed by many to be a hoax the video itself is very convincing. Is it too good to be true?

UFO captured on Security Video in Texas

Cotulla, a sleepy little town in rural La Salle County Texas, not often the topic of news. This week however a highly unusual sight was captured on a local security camera, a craft hovering just off the ground after apparently landing.

While many commentators describe the object as a cigar shaped UFO here at Highpants we believe the object is triangular in shape and black in colour. Baring a striking resemblance to the infamous black budget TR-3B Black Manta, the flying triangle.

According to the MUFON report provided by the source “My father works in an oil company here in Texas, and they had noticed that some people were taking the crude oil in the night. So they started putting cameras up around the areas. One night one camera caught a UFO. The news had spread through the workers and they soon emailed to my father.”

“My father had sent it to me and now I’m posting it here on MUFON. When I saw the picture I couldn’t believe how the shape was, it was what I had expected. More so since it was also hovering off the ground. I was used to different UFO’s mainly because I have seen some since I was a kid. It really got to me that I now have proof of the existence of these entities.”

The Airforce UFO landing in New Mexico…

Many interesting sights are often seen while driving along the highway, a UFO coming in to land is one of those attention grabbing sights. Captured while driving down the highway in New Mexico the object cannot be mistaken for anything but a space craft, far in advance of anything humanity has publicly demonstrated.

Generating much buzz when the video first debuted on YouTube last year, the debate has raged over authenticity. If it is a hoax it is a very well produced one. A quick vote around the Highpants office gave the consensus to hoax, though it was a borderline outcome.

One of the more controversial details of the video could easily be missed with the mistimed blink of an eye. Towards the end of the video as the UFO disappears behind a building an insignia can be seen on the side of the craft, a blue circle with a white star within. The very same insignia used by the US Air-force during WWII.

The question of ‘Where is the landing zone?’ is also left open. While it may be natural to assume it has disappeared behind the building it would be a far cooler idea if the building was the landing zone, via a retractable roof of some kind.
